Prior to The Spruce Pets, Caroline worked in editorial for the home departments of Good Housekeeping, Woman’s Day, and Redbook magazines on both print and digital content, covering everything from the latest decor trends to the best cleaning hacks. She also spent time freelancing for Martha Stewart Weddings. Caroline is also currently the Senior Editor for The Spruce, The Spruce Crafts, and MyDomaine, all a part of the Dotdash family of brands.
In her role as Senior Editor, Caroline oversees Home Design and Pets content, assigning, publishing, and updating articles. She also contributes to news and trending content franchises.

Caroline graduated summa cum laude from the University of Richmond with a degree in journalism and leadership studies in 2017. She also attended the post-graduate Columbia Publishing Course at Columbia University in 2017.
