Emily Estep is a biologist and journalist who has worked for a variety of online news and media outlets, writing about and editing topics that range from film and beauty to science and the automobile industry for more than six years. She has a Master's of Science degree in biology, with a focus on sustainable agriculture, and she’s also an expert on growing your own food, environmental sciences, and all topics relating to houseplants.

Emily received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Master of Science in Plant Biology from Ohio University.
