After college, Sophie started her career in book publishing as a publicist at Simon & Schuster. In order to deeper her understanding of digital marketing, social media, and SEO, Sophie pivoted to a web agency before returning to publishing in 2015 as the Social Media Manager for another big-five publisher. Now the Assistant Director of Social Media, Sophie spends her spare time freelance writing for brands including Vogue, The New York Times, Self magazine, Vulture, and more.

Sophie has a BA in World Politics from Hamilton College in upstate New York. As an avid reader, she considers herself a lifelong learner and is always striving to expand her mind to new information.
